The Synod of Whitby occurred in 664 AD. It was a defining historical event, deciding the Catholic over the Celtic Path in Anglo-Saxon England. Whitby Abbey is steeped in history and the beauty of art. My interest in art, history and spirituality combined to inspire me to make a film with help of photographer Reg Moore. It was picked up by Whitby Tourist Office and currently has 10,000 views.
