Thanks Ant. I’m pleased that West Sussex feels like home. I think we settled into our new home in Malvern pretty quickly. Maybe one thing that helps with the settling into a new place is that – in our sixties now – we are more settled into ourselves: our lives have hinterlands of friends elsewhere, achievements, lessons learned and the like.
That’s a insight I need to add. If you are more at one with yourself then you will settle in more easily anywhere. Although it probably still helps if the new place is at one with (true) you?
You should be able to find a bathing machine in a museum near you. Perhaps you could buy one, to avoid undesirable encounters!
Your settling in is really going well. We probably have enough friends already, but we will see what happens – we will gain some and lose some. We will not implement a one in one out policy (where have I heard that recently?).

Agreed Ant. We have found a Malvern that seems to want us as much as we want it..
