A very moving piece Ant. I like the poetry of those moments such as coming downstairs in the cafe and realising everyone there started out as just a seed; then thinking of Becky as a seed which you created which is now having to do, in her turn, the work of creation.
You didn’t, at the first alert, jump in the car and drive down to Brighton. Well done – you let them get on with it, and enjoyed a splendid, special lunch. But had you lost your table by then? Where did you sit?!
