  1. I speak as proud possessor of one of your bamboo paintings Ant – bamboo with lapwings ( which I initially mistook for long tailed tits). Thank you.
I recall, over twenty-five years ago, seeing bamboo used as construction site scaffolding across China. It bent and went with the flow, sometimes to considerable heights.

  2. Your interest in other cultures is great. I have seen your Chinese artwork and heard how things worked out, but it was still interesting to get some more detail in the podcast.

  3. What a splendid, unique experience, Ant. The graceful movement of bamboo is one that has always mesmerised me, immediately bringing me a sense of calm. It’s versatility and sustainability is part of its charm, and the cultural significance of bamboo, coupled with its resilience and many uses only add to this.

It was a blustery day by the sea when my other half and I listened to your latest Antcast, whilst we quietly drank our coffees before heading for a cobweb reducing walk. In my mind’s eye the image of bamboo swaying and shivering stayed with me as we walked, arm in arm, along the promenade, and rather than resisting the breeze, we felt part of it.
