I kept a pictographic journal on my three month adventure in New Zealand and Fiji 2024.  I was doing sketches in a notebook every day and then A4 paintings and drawings for up to a couple of hours on many days.   I used Arteza watercolour pens and pencils.  They are ideal for the travelling artist.    They are very easy to use and allow some amazing effects; can be packed easily both in your suitcase and in your bag for the day; create no mess and therefore will not upset your host!
