This podcast episode is about long term memories and how they are triggered. The cover art is a drawing I did at 13 of the event I recalled recently again, mentioned in the podcast. All will be revealed if you listen! (only 5 minutes as ever). The heading is a pun by the way – good, eh?
I like the paradox of Elsie the 18 month old, who will remember nothing of these events, teaching her old grandad to recall things buried in the past. The virtuous circle of relaxation sounds pretty good to me too!

Thanks Derek. We must keep the virtuous circles turning.
With every episode of your Antcasts, as I like to call them, your confidence grows. I can hear it in your voice. Well done.
It’s always interesting to hear your thoughts, theories, and memories. Indeed, your granddaughter may well be too young to verbalise the images and memories of the adventures with her grandparents, and at her tender age she probably won’t carry those images and memories outside of her subconscious mind; but they will shape who she is and what she becomes.

Thanks for your extra insights.
Good family memories.
Great sense of identity and indeed longevity.
That was enlightening Anthony. It’s interesting to me how you recall an event and then put a little bit of science behind it as to how the mind works. Thank you.

Thanks Lynne. It helps when I’ve drawn it too!
Very interesting, thanks. I regret that I never studied Psychology.

Thanks David.
Very good. Sensing this is about how sensory experiences (seeing, smelling etc.) have great potential to expose us all to positive emotions sourced from our fate (the past), our moment (now) and our destiny (the future).
