Interesting description, and I particularly like this picture. Unfortunately, our walls already have enough pictures, and perhaps you will always keep this one anyway. It is great that you have talents in both art and words, and that you are able to combine them.
Good to hear you back at your microphone creating your ‘Antcasts’, as I like to call them, Ant. It’s a lovely painting of a charming scene that very obviously captured you – from a painterly perspective as well as from a historical one – and, to convey in paint and words the resonating impression, is a challenge indeed.
