I did not know much about fools before I listened to the podcast, and your viewpoints are always interesting. You mention some features of good workplaces, which shows up many unhealthy and indeed rotten ones.

I agree with everything you have to say here, and it set me to thinking back on my own career in senior management in the care sector. Whenever I attended conferences I was struck by how serious and unironic everyone was ( particularly when extolling the merits of their own businesses). I generally tried to inject some foolish self -deprecation, but the reaction was as though I might be spinning somersaults in church. What joy to be retried in foolish old age!
